Frank About Health - Mental Health and Employment Law Post Covid PART 2 Crossover

The Covid-19 Pandemic has caused a collective and individual level of PTSD, anxiety and depression, and has exacerbated many mental health conditions of employees in the workforce. With nearly two years of working from home, quarantines, Covid-19 scares and a polarized society, many employees are seeking mental health-based leave, sick leave, and changes and accommodations from their employers.

What are the specific mental health disorders that have arisen from this ongoing pandemic and what new laws need to be created to help accommodate these workers in making the readjustment into the workplace? What mental health programs needs to be established or reinforced within organizations to help with adjustment issues and how does this help the essential worker in establishing a critical role even as the pandemic eventually winds down?

Gain a greater understanding of the mental health crisis impacting the workforce today, and will learn to recognize the needs of employees. Our listeners will further gain an understanding of their legal rights and responsibilities - whether as employers or employees. Dr. Phyllis will provide an additional understanding of what resources are available to aid in readjustment and recovery.
