Frank About Health - Social Justice in Healthcare Trim
This 3 person discussion on the social pathology that has arisen due to the social issues including the COVID 19 Pandemic originally aired in honor of Black History Month, however, it is timely to air during election season and to serve as a reminder that collectively we advocate for each other.
The continued confusion and disconnection between people when understanding how we are to live each day with restrictions and other limitations imposed on people of color or other socially disadvantaged groups where healthcare is not completely accessible or available. The biggest concern is in the realm of mental and emotional health.
Tanya, Reatha and David will shed light on the conflicts, limitations and possible solutions to continue transparency and advocacy so people can find the right information that will be helpful for all of us to come back to a place of normalcy as we end the year and move into a healthier future.
These 3 guests are in positions of expertise and influence based on their current platforms which enable them to continue advocating for social justice in healthcare.
Reatha Grey's influence on Tik Tok and as an actress who has also advocated for seniors and has been on the front lines in California and in select healthcare organizations.
Tanya Kennedy's influence is within the NY Supreme Court - Appellate Division
David Lee's influence is within NYC Government and within select groups serving the Asian-American community.
